Welcome to nano.tum.de - the TUM Institute for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology

nanoTUM, the TUM Institute for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology at the Technische Universität München, is devoted to research, development and teaching in the area of nanoscience, nanotechnology, associated materials science and life science.

Currently institutes from seven faculties of our university form the centre, which are Chemistry, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Medicine and Bio/Life Science. In addition, the TUM central institutes Walter Schottky Institut, the Institute for Medical Engineering IMETUM, the Catalysis Research Centre CRC, the research reactor FRM II as well as the Walther-Meißner-Institut which is associated with the TUM take part.
